Nick wants to work in technical theatre, but doesn’t have a specific technical studies degree, and wants to know where to start with getting skills.

Q. I have a BA Drama, been a stage manager at Uni and done casual work for my local theatre. I would like to get into light or sound design, but am unsure how to start. Should I get on a trainee scheme or go back to Uni for a more specific technical degree?
