Work experience

How was it for you?

Real life tales about work experience

Without a doubt, getting some work experience under your belt will help you no end when it comes to getting into theatre. “I grew in confidence,” said Jay Taylor, 20, who performed improvised street theatre with Mischief La Bas, “and I knew my CV would look a little less empty”.

Beckz Smith, also 20, has recently done work experience at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon. She said: “It opened my eyes to the range of jobs to be done even before the curtains go up, let alone when the production is in full swing”.
