Technical manager/director
The ABTT says:
This is the person in charge of the technical team in the theatre. The scenery and other electrical equipment (lights and sound) are operated by a staff of stage technicians who are under the immediate supervision of the technical manager. Some of the stage staff have permanent jobs, but others are employed on a casual basis, working each evening as show staff.
