Tamasha’s Workshop with Casting Director Jill Green CDG

Jill Green CDG is a member of the Casting Directors Guild of Great Britain and Ireland.

The workshop will include:

  • a short, informal talk by Jill Green followed by a Q&A session 
  • individual CV feedback from Jill Green 
  • a mock audition followed by panel feedback from Jill Green as well as your peers
The workshop will enable you to:
  • Gain a greater understanding of the casting process and industry 
  • Get feedback on your own audition technique 
  • Look at how best to present yourself in auditions

Jill Green CDG is a member of the Casting Directors Guild of Great Britain and Ireland. She began her career in stage management with Chicken Shed Theatre Company. She is a trustee of Ice And Fire / Actors For Human Rights. She has been Casting since 1999. 
 
West End credits include: Jersey Boys (Prince Edward Theatre); The Human Comedy (The Young Vic); The Producers (Theatre Royal Drury Lane and UK tours); Jack and the Beanstalk (Barbican); Sinatra at the Palladium; Aladdin (Old Vic) plus many more. Regional credits and tours include: She Loves Me (Chichester Festival Theatre); 42nd Street (Chichester Festival Theatre); Spike Milligan’s Adolf Hitler: My Part in His Downfall (UK tour); Wuthering Heights (Tamasha Theatre Company UK tour); The Three Musketeers (Bristol Old Vic); Much Ado About Nothing (Liverpool Everyman) plus many more. Films include Beyond the Sea (co-casting; director Kevin Spacey; choreographer Rob Ashford).

This opportunity is open to 10 artists from all cultural backgrounds and for recent graduates or those with at least two years professional experience.
