Open Doors

Our aim is to make young people aged 15 plus aware of employment and participatory opportunities in theatre, particularly those relating to backstage, technical and front of house. What will the day look like? Our host venues are literally opening their doors for the day, both front of house and backstage. Each event will be tailored to reflect the facilities and resources available in the region. As well as discovering what makes a theatre work and what creative and technical components go into realising a production, there will be a mix of building tours, workshops, talks and a market place.
