Greenhouse

1 December 2007

Spacecadets have created a collection of rare, carnivorous plants - and they've taken over The Lowry. Celebrate the launch of these giant inflatables by joining the artists to make an exotic plant to take home. The giant plants will be taking root at The Lowry right through to Sun 20 April 2008 - so look out for them!

Theatre making grants, south east

No Strings Attached is a new grant scheme to help young people make their first piece of theatre. Grants of between £500 and £1,000 are available to young people from across the South East region.

The scheme is one of 10 pilot projects supported by the Arts Council England’s Young People’s Participatory Theatre’ programme (YPPT) funded by the DCMS. The grant is managed by Farnham Maltings.

Who is it for?

The grant is for anyone aged between 18 and 25 who hasn’t previously received a grant for the arts. You can apply as an individual or as part of a group.

To register your interest and to book an appointment, or for further information please contact Jane McGibbon:
