Notingham schools' youth theatre

27-31 October 10am-4pm

Half term youth theatre happens over October and February half terms in four satellite venues in Broxtowe, Gedling, Rushcliffe and the city.

Some young people from each group are then selected to join Momentous youth theatre, who rehearse for a play that is performed on our main stage at the Playhouse, usually in April.

Theatre making grants, south east

No Strings Attached is a new grant scheme to help young people make their first piece of theatre. Grants of between £500 and £1,000 are available to young people from across the South East region.

The scheme is one of 10 pilot projects supported by the Arts Council England’s Young People’s Participatory Theatre’ programme (YPPT) funded by the DCMS. The grant is managed by Farnham Maltings.

Who is it for?

The grant is for anyone aged between 18 and 25 who hasn’t previously received a grant for the arts. You can apply as an individual or as part of a group.
