Do something!
Get into Theatre’s what’s on section is not about bums on seats; it lists only those events that you can actually take part in.
You can search by region, by month or by type of event and activities include workshops, open days and auditions.
Some have a price tag attached, but many are free.
If you are from an organisation that offers participatory events for young people then please email us the details. If you are a regular provider of events, you can request login details so you can add them yourself.

Theatre making grants, south east
No Strings Attached is a new grant scheme to help young people make their first piece of theatre. Grants of between £500 and £1,000 are available to young people from across the South East region.
The scheme is one of 10 pilot projects supported by the Arts Council England’s Young People’s Participatory Theatre’ programme (YPPT) funded by the DCMS. The grant is managed by Farnham Maltings.
Who is it for?
The grant is for anyone aged between 18 and 25 who hasn’t previously received a grant for the arts. You can apply as an individual or as part of a group.
