What else have you done in theatre?
Technical stage manager, Sherman Theatre and a carpenter at Clwyd Theatr Cymru and Perth Rep. Before that I freelanced as a carpenter for a couple of years for companies including Victoria Palace Theatre, London, Chester Gateway (now closed) and Players Theatre, London.

A degree in technical theatre from Rose Bruford
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A cricketer
What do you do all day?
Arrive at work, deal with some admin bits and pieces, order materials and brief the team on their task for the day. Answer the phone constantly. Work on piece of scenery scheduled to build. Maybe go to a few meetings.

Every day is different

Lifting heavy scenery and getting dirty
